When my blog was posted on Slashdot last month, someone called Red Moose left the comment: "In other Slashdot news, 6000 other web logs by male scientist reporters continue to be unimportant due to their lack of being female."

I felt really sorry for the few thousand men who are keeping much more interesting Antarctic blogs than me and sadly were going unnoticed just because I'm a girl and, naturally, this is the only fact that makes me interesting to anyone else of note who uses the net (i.e. boys). Let's face it - it can't be hard to be better than Slush: my guestbook is full, my code renders dodgily on Mozilla, I rarely talk about what I actually do down here, and most of the stuff I write about is probably only interesting to myself or my family and close friends, because that's largely who I write for. So: below is a list of other Antarctic blogs for you to check out. If you know of any others or if you keep an Antarctic blog or on-line diary yourself, please send me the link.
