The Antarctic Division has a strict limit on how much alcohol we can take down with us on the ship, no doubt implemented due to fears of over-consumption.
For me, doing a round trip of three and a half months, the limit works out to two and a half times my body weight in beer. In other words, as long as I don't drink so much that I die, it's OK with the AAD.
The weight limit for all my other stuff combined is 30 kg. No space for books, let's hit the boooooze!
